Welcome.
I have lived in the Oceanside area for over 20 years raising my family while practicing in the field of mental health since 1992.
My career has given me the opportunity to work within diverse settings such as not for profit agencies, Indigenous communities and government. I have had the pleasure of providing clinical supervision to various mental health teams which sparked my passion for connecting and learning with others.

My approach to clients is always strength-based, as I believe that every individual has unique qualities that can serve as a foundation for  personal growth. My style is to be warm, open and nonjudgmental.

In our first session I will ask questions to try and get a sense of what brings you in to counselling/therapy. We will talk together about a plan for your time in counselling and discuss what your goals are to support change; sometimes in big ways and sometimes in small.

I do offer an initial complementary 20 minute phone session session to acknowledge the value of finding a counsellor that is a good fit.
